Why do the ones at the bottom of the pyramid see life in a hell mentality?
Are the ones on the bottom of the period making hell more real? If we look at Maslow's hiearchy of needs we see that those may live in survival mode for their entire life. And refuse to contribute. They live in the world of consumerism and materialism, it doesn't fit in with the abundance mentality. Although things arent indefinately abundant, changes need to be constantly fluid and adaptable. But here is the other side of the argument, those who have self-actualized and see the world as heaven, a place where one can create, a place where infinite knowledge can be explored, are these guys hinting to the others why to see the world in this light? It may or may not be spiritual, according to the dream you have, but it's a worthwhile concept to explore. Is there a pyramid at all really?, Can it just be circles within circles?

- Please excuse the simplicity of this answer . Its what you think is what you are ......and the out working of that is all around you ...your effects, your friends your wealth and indeed every facet of your life ... Seems too simple doesn't it ..... What you think is what you are ..
- You seem to over estimate Maslow and take it for granted that it is law. What you fail to understand is that those in higher positions never relinquish power. Those at the bottom often times have been beaten into submission by a lifetime of misery, and have resigned themselves with the help of superstitions and Church leaders telling them to accept their roles in life as God has given them for "...they will receives riches and rewards in the afterlife." There is a joke that says that life (or a large corporation) is like a tree full of monkeys, those on top s h i t on those on the bottom while those on the bottom look up and laugh becasue all they see are a s s h o l e s.
